November 2020 Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Essay Prescribed Title #6 has unique connections to many RLEs in the arts. There are different debates about “reliable knowledge” in the arts compared to other AOKs and there are issues of certainty as well.

This particular RLE adds another layer to the discussion because of the use of Excel (and mathematics) to create art. Math-based art may have more “certainty” in some ways but it can be argued that the use of math has a negative impact on artistic value.
